The Beatles recorded “The White Album” from May 30th to October 14th 1968 mostly at Abbey Road Studios.  One of my personal highlights from the album was Eric Clapton joining The Beatles to play on While My Guitar Gently Weeps.

Break out your copy, load it on to the iPod and remind yourself what a great work this double album turned out to be.  You know that you can sing almost every song word for word….

While My Guitar Gently Weeps with Tom Petty & Prince (Guitar) – Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction 2004

(Prince & George Harrison were both inducted that year.)

(Watch this from the 3:32 point onward and be blown away by Prince’s guitar work rivaling Clapton’s, yes I said it!)
