Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony Simulcast

Posted by T Rex on March 10, 2008

If you don’t have VH1-Classics and find yourself in Cleveland tonight dying to see the material girl, Leonard Cohen or John Mellencamp inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame you’re in luck.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum will simulcast the four-hour ceremony, including the unedited performances and all of the comments that are cut from the television broadcast.

Madonna will not be performing tonight instead letting Iggy Pop perform a few of her hits which is by far more entertaining. John Mellencamp, the only actual rock inductee of the night will be doing something with Billy Joel. Patti LaBelle— also not in the Hall of Fame — is performing for Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff. The Ventures will do one of their instrumentals, with the now-ubiquitous John Fogerty and Lou Reed will induct Leonard Cohen.

The 2008 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductees are Leonard Cohen, the Dave Clark Five, Madonna, John Mellencamp, the Ventures, Little Walter and Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff.
