Maybe this aggressive move by Universal CEO Doug Morris is from the heat he’s feeling from Seth Mnookin’s Wired article?
Nokia announced deal with Universal which calls for unlimited music downloads for one year on phones bundled with Nokia’s new OviWeb-services platform. This deal with Universal gives Nokia a lift in it’s plans to compete with Apple and will be in stores in time for Christmas.
The service, called Comes With Music, will allow users to keep the music after their yearly subscription charge ends which is a HUGE selling feature. You can download a lot of music in a year!
